The past month has been an absolute blast! sleepless...but a blast. I am so thankful for our sweet little baby. He is growing SOOOO fast. It is crazy! He has already grown to inches and gained two pounds. Christopher is such a sweet baby. He does lots of smiling when he is awake and when he is asleep. It is so cute! He really only cries if he needs a clean diaper or he is hungry. Other than that he is a very easy baby.
Here are some more pictures of our Lil man.
Happy Halloween!
Daddy thought it would be funny to make it look like I was watching football with him.
Well, while the baby is still sleeping I am going to hurry and eat some dinner. I hope all is well for everyone. I will try and stay more up on this blogging thing.... no promises. Dirty diapers seem to take precedence these days- and we are loving every minute of it!

THE BABY IS COMING TOMORROW!!!!
So Ocotber 5th....... HAPPY DUE DATE! COME AND GONE WITH NO BABY!!!! but i do have a BABY UPDATE! I went to the Dr. today and after they tried to monitor the lil guy for 2 hours they gave up on that plan and sent me for an ultra sound. They then found that he doesn't have much fluid which made my Dr say--- ok times up--- HE IS COMING TOMORROW!!!! Everything is fine for both of us but she doesn't see a good reason to keep waiting for him to come on own since that may create problems due to the fluid level. So, I have packed, repacked and repacked my hospital bag this afternoon. The house is vacuumed, laundry done....now sitting here waiting till I call the hospital to see what time I am supposed to check in tonight. I have to spend the night there with monitors on baby-- and some medicine to help labor along and we will have a baby tomorrow morning. At least that is the plan. So, we will keep everyone updated! We cant wait to meet lour little baby boy! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!

Hope for next week!!!!
So, yes I realize about all I have posted about it baby-pregnancy updates. Sorry to bore you. It kind of is a big topic for me. hahaha.
We finally got all the baby stuff- crib, swing, and stroller and stuff all put together. Actually, Chris did. I watched. We had to order some replacement parts for our crib and they finally showed up last friday. His (the babys) room looks so cute. Actually there is not really any decor-just cute crib bedding and his swing and dresser. I am still looking for some wall decor. All the cute stuff I find is for girls rooms and that just is not going to work! So, still shopping.
I had another doc visit today and found out that she will be out of town for a week starting the day after my due date (Oct 5th). SOOOOO??? What does that mean? It means that if things are looking ready at my appoint next tuesday then I may get to be induced the end of next week so that she will be the one delivering our lil guy. OH LETS HOPE SO!!!!! Plan B (which I am refusing to think of as even being a plan or option) is that he comes late and either another doc delivers, or Plan C- if I havent gone into labor by the time she is back then my doc will induce labor seeing as how I will be over a week past the due date. We dont really know exactly how much this lil guy weighs (it could be off) but her estimate is he is 7lbs now and will be right about 8 by end of next week. OH BOY!!!! PRAY HE COMES SOON!..... and that plan "b" and "c" dont even get to be considered!
Other than baby news everything is going great. Work has been lots of fun. I am being serious. ha ha--- I am a dork but I love working. Tons of cute new fall clothes---and now I actually care to be looking at them because I am hoping I will be able to wear some of it again soon. Chris has been a good sport about me not wanting to do a whole lot but sit around when I get home from work. This has meant some odd dinners- of whatever we have in the house or a place that we can find something that sounds good for takeout.
Chris is playing soccer again this season. I have not been able to go watch because his games though because they have either been really late (and I want to stay home and go to sleep) or before I am off work. He loves playing- and its great exercise. His team is pretty good- and they win most weeks.
Other than that not a whole lot. Oh wait... How could I forget. Its football season. I have mixed emotions about this time of year. Chris lives for BYU football, so the past few saturdays I have hung out at home relaxing while he went to the games. He has had so much fun going to watch. This year we even have a BONUS round going on. (I say that with sarcasm) Chris is playing fantasy football with some friends. I really just dont get being that into watching sports. (And I have come a heck-of-a long way since we got married! I went to my first game ever with Chris. Now I know names- of college and professional players. So, I'd say I am pretty supportive of his intense love for the game). Whatever. Thats about all I can say. It is fun to see him get excited and go have fun so ...whatever. hahaha. Well, this has turned into a fairly lengthy post. Sorry if its boring. Its whats going on for us. Hopefully we will have some fun news--and pictures of a little boy to post soon. VERY VERY SOON!

LESS THAN A MONTH!!!!
Not that I am counting or anything....ha ha ha ha Yeah right! Of course I'm counting down!!!THERE IS ONLY 27 (saying he waits till due date to arrive) days till the baby comes! I went to the doc again this morning and everything is still going great! My hand hurting is even normal. The doctor informed me that the good-bad news is that it just kinda aches, it could go totally numb, and that would still be normal for pregnancy. SO, I guess I'm lucky.
It feels like life has been put on super fast forward lately. I guess that means Chris and I have been having fun and working hard. Chris is back in school full time. Monday and Wednesdays are school days. We don't see each other until he gets home from school and falls asleep from the long day. But its all good, he is in his third year of electrical school already! Only one more year after this! I am very proud of him! I am working full time still. I have been so blessed to feel well thru this pregnancy. It makes it so that I can keep having a paycheck that I am so tempted to spend on cute little baby clothes! I don't know what I would do if I was having a baby girl!.....oh wait yes I do....I'd be looking for a second job. Why? Because baby girl departments of stores are way bigger than the boys and I have a hard time with all the boy stuff there is that I would love to buy.
So, along with working hard, Chris and I have also been playing. Saturday I had the day off. Chris went running errands with me in the morning. It was fun to be out and about together. We found bumpers for the cradle so now the baby has a place to sleep. Then we went home so Chris could watch the BYU game. Saturday night we went to a friends house to watch a UFC fight. It was fun to see friends and hang out for the night! Thanks Brooke and Jesse for having us over!
Other than that bit of rambling about whats up nothing super interesting has been going on for us. Just getting more and more excited for the baby! Life is great! I hope everyone is doing well!

Our "Squirmy Little Wiggle Worm"!
"Squirmy little wiggle worm" hahaha. That's what the doctor called our sweet little baby today. The lil tyke just wouldn't hold still as the doc tried to see how he was positioned and check the heartbeat. Its really weird to watch my stomach move around and know there is a little guy in there making it move! Pregnancy is weird, an awesome kind of weird. That's about all I have to say today....everything is good! This is probably the first summer that I have not totally loved the heat in Utah but, other than that- no complaints. Hope all is well for everyone else!

I dont even understand myself!
So, I am totally going to blame it on being pregnant! Blame what on being pregnant you ask? Oh just everything I say, or ask, or do these days!!! I feel like crawling in a hole sometimes because I am able to embarrass myself so well! Chris is sweet enough to just laugh when i ask the same question like 5 times in a row.I'm not even joking about doing that! I am so scatter-brained! Then, to make things even more interesting I feel like I can cry over anything, and everything. Chris would probably say that's nothing new, and that I have always done that. I will say yes, I have always been a sensitive person but its ridiculous these days!!! I found this comic and had to post it because it is nearly how I feel! I was looking around online at pregnancy sites and found this one that had the comic. There was also a bunch of posts about crazy things pregnant have said or done and blamed it on pregnancy mood swings. It was somewhat comforting- because I feel I am no where near as crazy as some women. Which brings me to my point in rambling today---I would like to make a PUBLIC APOLOGY to my sweet husband, family, and friends. I am so sorry if I am crazy, rude, uncontrollably emotional, hard to understand or anything else. I blame it on the pregnancy hormones!!!!!

Nothing new.....another month already over
Time is ridiculous. I swear everyday the clock speeds up a little bit!
So, June is over. hmm... we went to some more doctor appointments, and everything is still going great. My belly is getting bigger and bigger. It still is weird to me.
Chris surprised me with a cute watch for my birthday and some new shoes. He is so sweet! Since Dixie and I share a birthday we went to dinner together with some of the fam. It was really fun. We went to Maddox in Brigham City so Sarah and Nate could meet us there. Matt and Krissy were there too. It was a lot of fun to visit with everyone! Saturday I took the day off and Chris and I played. We went to lunch and shopping at gateway!
Then on that Sunday we had dinner at my parents house with pumpkin pie (one of my favorites) for bday cake. I have such wonderful family--both my own and my inlaws! It was a great weekend!
Chris got his motorcycle license or endorsement, or whatever its called. He kept talking about it being something that he wanted to do. So, after spending a TON of time on the phone I finally was able to get spot in a class that had a cancellation. (there has been a law change so everyone was trying to take class prior to change) I am fine with him riding-I just wanted him to take the course first. He passed the class with flying colors- I knew he would! Then off to the DMV for the license. Chris was texting me while he was there about how much he loves waiting in lines. hahahaha
I have been looking at cute baby stuff, and would like to buy everything I see! There are so many things that look like fun! I haven't been able to find a car seat or stroller that I love yet. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I haven't checked to many stores yet- and luckily there is still time.
I will post some pictures when there is some I like. hahaha. I feel like I am looking super pregnant right not- Not really the pictures that I want to look at. So, anyways. That's about all for now.

Half way there...
So, we are finally half way thru the wait to meet our lil' baby. Actually a little more than half (22 weeks now) We went to the doctor Monday, and everything is going great. I don't know why, but going to the doctor makes me nervous. Chris was able to go with me this time- which helps my anxiety level drop a ton. Its not like he can do anything besides sit next to me. Its just having his support there with me that is so nice. The part I do love about going, is hearing the heart beat! Which was strong and "exactly as it needs to be" as the doc put it.
Things are all good for us this week! Busy busy busy- as always! :) Hopefully things are all good for you as well!

Rain Rain go away!
Memorial Day weekend... did it really have to rain all weekend long? We went to the cabin Saturday evening-Monday afternoon. It rained and rained, and then SNOWED! but we still had lots of fun riding in the ranger, and playing with Abigail and baby Norman! It is so nice to go somewhere that makes it so you have no choice but to relax. There is always so much to do at home, it was fun to go play. I don't have any pictures-due to the rainy, muddy, snow mess, I left my camera at the cabin because I was more focused on finding my gloves to go outside and play. It sure was fun though!

ITS A BOY!
The whole day was so much fun for Chris and I. Chris actually took a day off work (that was the first time this year!) and we just played all day. After the ultrasound we both spent a little bit of time calling our parents and siblings to tell them the news. Then we went to breakfast and the mall, running errands, home for a few minutes for some lunch, then off to play again! It was so much fun! We decided it should be enforced that people take days off once in while- a break is so NICE!

APRIL. ...come and gone.
So, another month..hmm...
Lots has happened for Chris and I. Chris finished school for the semester. Which means he is done with two of his four years of Electrical school. YAY!
We have been to a couple more doc appointments and everything is going well! The heartbeat is strong and perfect! Chris and I just wish that there was a way to get thru the summer a little bit faster because we are SO excited to meet this little baby! Then all at the same time I can not believe it only takes the time it does for a new little human being to be completely formed and able to come into the world. It hardly is seeming like enough time for me to truly get it into my head that this is really real-- I am going to be a MOM! I feel like there is so much to do before this baby comes!
What is there to do? Well first of all finish unpacking my house. Chris and I moved for any of you that didn't already know that. We moved the first weekend of May. We are living in my parents old home-(they moved). We are loving being in Draper-it means I am SOOOOO CLOSE to work. That makes it nice when its time to head home- no more 45 minutes in traffic and construction. Life is like a blur to me- its crazy and wonderful!

I stink at blogging!
Yes i know! I suck at updating this silly thing. The problem is- hahaha (here comes the blame game) that I love reading about everyone elses life. So many of our friends and family members have such cute, interesting and even down right hilarious posts on their blogs that I spend all my time reading others posts. Then suddenly I realize how much time has passed and I have to get busy doing one of the other million things that are on my to do list for the day. So, I blame all of you that I know that have cute blogs for making it so I dont update mine more often. If you didnt write such fun things I wouldnt have to visit your blogs, and I would just attend to mine. So HA! its not my fault! hahahaha

APRIL! can you believe it is spring already?
It is Spring? Then why is it still snowing? We wake up to over 6 inches on the cars? THIS IS APRIL! QUIT SNOWING. I wish I was going to Hawaii this week. I want to lay on a beach!
So, I have basically done a overview of the year till now so now I just need to remember to update this. I will try my best. Chris is going to read what I have written and probably call me a geek for writing what I did. Then he will remind me of a million other things that I could have posted about. Oh well. What has happened so far this month?
Whats new? Well my parents are moving to a new house on south mtn. It is beautiful. They have all new furniture. ...Yes, I am a tad jealous. It has an AMAZING view of the valley. They will be moving in (hopefully) the second weekend of April. Chris and my family are working on the finishing touches this weekend, while I am at work.
Chris is done with school for the semester at the end of this month. That should mean that he is studying, but he hasnt done a whole lot of that yet. I guess he figures he will later or something. We (chris and I) are really good at putting work second and fun first. Hopefully he gets enough tiem to study before the test. That is one part I dont miss about school-the finals.
Last night Chris and I went and saw the movie "21". We both really liked it. We were reminded why we love watching movies at home though. I wanted a drink. That will be 4.50. Popcorn 5.00 candy 4.00. It was just insane to me that it has gotten that expensive. Then we get into the theatre and end up with this group of high school or younger kids next to us. That shouldnt have been a problem its not like they are not old enough to sit still for two hours. Well, WRONG! they climed over us like 6 times. (we were sitting on the end) Is it impossible for them to tie the bathroom trip into the snack trip as well? For this group the answer is yes. The girl right next to me sat texting on her blackberry the whole time. My problem with this is A: She has a blackberry and was maybe 15. Why in the heck does she need that much phone. Is she running her own business or something? That would be the only reason I see necessary for her to have internet access at all times. Problem B. The screen is fairly big on her phone and bright, and she is not even trying to sheild the light from it. I wouldnt care if she got it out to glance at time, or send a message once. But, she was actively texting thru the ENTIRE MOVIE. It became funny to me. She wasted 8 bucks to sit at a show she didnt watch. She could have just stayed home and talked to whoever it was. Well, I think thats about enough ranting about that.

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!
The rest of the month--- work work work. Not much to tell. I have not been sick very often. till the last week of the month. But not like really sick, more tired than anything.
Chris has been an amazing sport. There has been lots of sitting home watching tv nights rather than out and about. He makes me dinner and lets me just lay on the couch while he takes care of me. He is so wonderful!

February!
Happy Valentines Day! Chris brought home flowers and had a sweet card for me. Due to the way work schedules went that day we made dinner at home and watched a movie. It was a great Valentines Day! I LOVE CHRIS!
The rest of this month went by fairly slow...we were waiting for an appointment that was set for MARCH 3rd.

Catch up for the year of 2008
January...
Happy New Year! We cant believe how fast years go by. This was our 4th new years eve together. Wow do I love having someone to kiss at midnight! I also love knowing I have someone to have new adventures with thru another new year. We went snowmobiling a couple of times. We went to the cabin (by scoffeild res.) and spent the weekend playing. It is always so much fun to get away!
One weekend Chris and I decided we would drive up to the cabin on a Friday night. Well, we took our time getting there. Stopped for new gloves. Stopped and had dinner. This and that. Suddenly it was 8 pm and we had not even past Provo yet. It only takes about 1 1/2 hours to get there but the canyon is FULL of deer, and at that time snow. We decide that even though it was dark we would just drive slow and get there. Well, the canyon drive went fine. We didnt hit any animals. We did count over 20 dead dear on that particular drive.
We got to the lake and the road that takes us up to the cabin had been plowed but had ruts that were super deep. Chris puts the truck into 4wheel drive and starts driving. It was a silent truck cab. I was just holding on as the truck slid back and forth. We made it clear to the top of the hill. This takes about 10 minutes most the time. We had spent 45 making that part of the drive. Now we are at the top of the hill and should only had to spend like 5 minutes getting to the canyon. Oh, no. Not this time. The road that would take us there the fastest is not plowed wide enough for the truck. So we take the long way around. Another half hour has passed at this poing. We are finally at the driveway of the cabin. The only problem is that the plow has not been to it yet. There is like 10-12 feet of snow blocking our way. Hiking in would be an option if there was somewhere to pull the truck off the road, but there isn't. There is only room for one vehicle on the narrow plowed area, and no turn-around spots have been plowed. So, Chris got to back the truck up till there was enough room to turn around. We are both laughing at this point. We had been so determined, and now there was nothing we could do but go home. The sad part was the camera had been left home so there is no pictures to show the road we tried to drive. It was a serious 4 wheeling adventure! So, slowly back down the mountain we went....home again. At least we have fun driving together seeing as how we had plenty of drive time that weekend!

A blog..... i know, i know, its about time!
So, here is our blog ...finally. I had started this back in January. I created a username and password. I spent a while playing with colors. Mostly not realizing that you can change things when you want. While playing around I also realized that I can just delete if I decide a post was dumb. After playing with colors for a while I had to get to work. Time flies, and I forgot to log back on here. I have never published (or whatever they call making this visible to others) it because I had not written much. I decided I would just make it visible to other people then I will update it from time to time. I am not making any promises on how often. I know some weeks will just be better than others for time to write on here. With that said, we hope everything is going well for all our friends! I will write a bit to catch up with what has happened this year so far. Yes, I realize its April now so I will just include important stuff.
